Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has exceeded one million informational booklets distributed in just one month. The eu news now initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
